Savannah Niles / R.91.129 is an artist, designer, and founder building technology platforms and sustainable ecosystems for creators working at the frontier of media and storytelling.

She is the co-founder and CEO of Wide Worlds, an AI-native platform for collaborative worldbuilding that empowers artists, brands, and fan communities to co-create, expand, and share in the value of their universes. She creates art as R.91.129, a fictional persona she discovered in latent space. 

Savannah serves on the board of Filmgate Miami, a pioneering non-profit championing immersive and interactive storytellers. She helps guide the curation and strategy for Filmgate Interactive, the first U.S. festival dedicated solely to experimental narratives, XR experiences, and emerging technologies shaping the future of cinema.

Previously, she led product and design at Meta Reality LabsMagic Leap, and Magnopus, shipping industry-defining XR products and experiences. Over more than a decade of 0→1 work, she has launched core operating systems, award-winning interactive experiences for Walt Disney Imagineering and Twitter, and over twenty patented innovations. She has served as a juror and curator for SIGGRAPH, keynoted global festivals including MUTEK and Laval Virtual, and twice earned Time’s “Invention of the Year” honors.

Savannah holds a Master’s from the MIT Media Lab, where she researched expressive video interfaces for ambient and XR storytelling, and undergraduate degrees in Sculpture and Creative Computation from SMU. She lives and works in Los Angeles.
