Walt Disney Imagineering
2013 Internship
Working with Imagineering was transformative, and imbued me with a lifelong interest in harmonizing design and technology to create enchanting experiences.
While exhibiting an interactive installation at SXSW, I met the Connected Experiences team from Walt Disney Imagineering. They were developing attractions to reinvent the in-queue experiences at the parks, and invited me to intern with them in Los Angeles to develop and deploy some of these experiences.
Throughout the internship I designed and prototyped early-stage attractions and facilitated play-tested these with children. I developed the first prototypes for the in-queue experiences for Seven Dwarves Mine Train, a rollercoaster that debuted 2014 in Disney World's FantasyLand expansion.
